I am in the airport.

Well, well, well. The day has finally come, and I am in the LAX airport RIGHT NOW. Right before I left Goleta, 2 dear friends stopped by, just in the nick of time... Lola(Shirley) and Wrong (Jayson) made me cry.... I love you guys! And guess who is sitting right next to me? Derek! He drove up from Costa Mesa, just to say good bye to me. <333 I love my friends, and I am so thankful for them.
My mommy and daddy drove me down here( i love themmmmmm), and we are just hanging out, and I am drinking like a gallon of Sprite.... this is NOT a good idea hahaha

Well, I think I have to go now. I haven't gone through security yet...

OHHHHH! My suitcase was UNDER weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooo hooo!
my mommy was quite relieved. I even managed to pack the snow jacket.
I AM SOOOO GLAD i didn't have to repack. YAY!

Holy COW! or at least it feels like it... :]

Suitcases. Do you realize how hard it is to get these stupid cases to be the right weight, and the right dimensions, and fit all my stuff? I will be the first to admit I am addicted to clothes. My giant packed Spacebags prove that. I am pretty close to 50 lbs on my giant suitcase, and let me tell you, it has taken a lot of work to give up my things lol.... but I think I'm done. And ya know what? I DON'T CARE if I have to pay 5 euros for each pound over. WHATEVERRRRR lol But really, I think I'm in the green!

Last night I had a great time with a bunch of my buddies, exploring Goleta for one of the last times for a year.... I'm really going to miss everybody! I have plans to Skype with everyone, so we can all stay in touch. OMG! Its just tonight, tomorrow, then Monday I am off to LA for my flight..... And its funny, because I don't really feel like I am forgetting anything important right now... hmmmmm.....

So we went on a photo shoot (like we always do! :] ) with glow sticks. Lots of fun!

3 days from now.....

OMG! I am going to be on an airplane in 3 days.... complete with 2 suitcases, a carry-on, and one more "small personal bag". ha. I took less than half of my extensive wardrobe, but I still have too many clothes.

My Visa finally came... only a week later than they told me, and after having Marist call them, and ME calling 2 times with voicemails. Whateverrrr, as long as I got it! :]

I got some money exchanged to euros in town, $1.47 = 1 euro..... this is gunna be funnnn. Talk about college being expensive lol....

So now I need to photocopy all of my important documents, tell everyone my cell # is being cut off :[[[[[ (what am I going to do without texting????) and pick out my airplane outfit. yayayay!

Oh and I got my European cell phone... but it will cost like $1.50 a min to call home. It's a Moto rokr e8... pretty snazzy. I don't have a working sim card yet though... oh and it came in German, so Thomas and i had to figure it all out, fun stuff haha

it still hasn't totally hit me how crazy this year is going to be. I am sooooooo excited, soooo ready, and soo up for the challenge.
